Pink carnations traditionally symbolise gratitude, making them a lovely gift for Mother’s Day or to show your thanks to a friend or client. To grow happy carnations, ensure they have plenty of sunlight and are planted in well-drained soil that is fertile and slightly alkalised. Lightly water two to three times a week and ensure the soil is dry before watering.
